Hoppy Easter!

This year, Easter started with Saturday night church. Our church had 14,000 visitors this weekend, and the Saturday night service was crowded but not overflowing like it would have been Easter morning. It also freed up our Sunday morning to egg hunt and relax. I actually had to work at the church nursery all Sunday morning, so the boys hung out with daddy, eating donuts and chocolate. The bunny left a plastic egg hunt in the backyard (a first for us), and Andrew was up at the crack of dawn waiting to see what he brought! We woke Alex & daddy up at 7am and let the boys loose in the yard, reminding them to please be quiet b/c the neighbors were still sleeping. The bunny brought lots of chocolate & candy, along with books and rocket blasters. That afternoon, we went to our good friends' house for Easter dinner (a bonus b/c I only had to cook potatoes & dessert!). The boys ran wild, watched the Chipmunk Squeak-uel, played with their friends, and ate more junk food. A happy Easter was had by all.....ending with Alex spiking a fever due to a sinus infection. Oh well. At least most of the day went well! :)
