December 29, 2009--Andrew's 8th birthday! I can't believe he's 8 years old. It seems like just yesterday we were worried about him growing fast enough, and now he's practically a tween!! We're buying things for ages 8 and up now and talking about redecorating his room into a "big kid" room...crazy! I'm not ready for these changes! He's still a scrappy 45 pounds, but he's smart as a whip! He's into Wii and his DS these days. He reads like a fiend and writes comics and stories (and goes thru packs of paper every year). He loves to play with Alex and build with Legos and play with Star Wars figures. He's learning to ride his big bike (without training wheels) and involved in Cub Scouts. We're even going to visit the Tae Kwon Do place this next week to check out a class there! We're so proud of his smart mind and his sweet, sweet heart. Happy birthday, little man! We love you!

Happy birthday to YOU, too, momma. Just think..in two more years, he'll be the same age that you were when we met you and you used to come down to "babysit" newborn Emily. (Who is now 24 years old!!!)

That is crazy! I STILL have a soft spot for newborn babies. I surely must have driven you crazy, though. I was at your house constantly!
